Nexus Fire & Safety is a full service fire protection company headquartered in West Kelowna. We are looking for an experienced Fire Suppression Technician with experience in inspections, repairs, and verification. Additional tickets for other fire safety qualifications would be an asset. The position will require proficiency with current NFPA and ULC codes, as well as the ability to work under little or no supervision. Key Responsibilities:

 

Perform inspections, repairs and verifications of fire suppression systems and other systems that the technician is qualified to work on.

Provide technical support, when required, to end-users to ensure their knowledge and satisfaction with the service and the solution provided by Nexus Fire & Safety.

Complete reports and work orders in a timely fashion on our software platform and submit them to the office for processing and/or invoicing.

This is a full-time position.

Requirements:

  • Fire Suppression certification and experience.
  • Valid Drivers License and clean Abstract
  • Proficiency in the English Language for verbal and written communication
  • Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, as well as Adobe PDF
